Creative Industry Advisors

Hours variable
Required for work across a number of regions including Birmingham/Solihull, Coventry Warwickshire and Staffordshire, the Black Country, Central and South-west London, South Yorkshire and Derbyshire, North Yorkshire, Humberside and Teeside. To support employability and training linked to work in the music and performance industries including artist management and promotion, events management, theatre and stage (performers, technicians and designers/artists) Photography, Entertainers and musicians (including DJ?s, writers/lyricists).

Salary up to ?21,000 (pro-rata)

Armstrong Learning is one of the?UK?s only providers of specialist?music industry training combined?with employability support and forms part of the Armstrong Learning Group alongside Access to Music, the UK?s leading designer and provider of popular music education, training and consultancy.

You will:
Establish, review and monitor work focused action plans measure progress and set goals linked to employment outcomes, provide jobsearch support, workshops and industry based advice and signposting, together with ongoing casework support.

You are:
Flexible, organised, able to work to deadlines and an effective communicator, with a knowledge and experience of music and the performance industries.

We require a skilled, highly motivated individual, with a background in recruitment, HR, or employment related training, to deliver high quality job broking for unemployed people across much of England, and to develop strong working relationships with local and national employers.

This new and exciting role is being offered to further develop and implement our jobsearch strategy for all clients, ensuring we meet and exceed key targets for clients moving into work within 6 weeks of leaving the programme.

The job has a basic salary combined with commission based on the number of job outcomes that we are able to claim. Your on target earnings will exceed ?20k.

Music Industry Contact Advisers

The national Music Industry Provider (MIP) programme is run on behalf of Jobcentre Plus, by Armstrong Learning. We help people make their way in music, and into work.

Armstrong Learning require skilled, highly motivated individuals, with a background in music industry education and practice, to deliver high quality telephone and face to face advice and support for unemployed musicians across England.
