Our Armstrong Learning Mentoring Programme is offered to everyone who needs to overcome barriers they face in their search for employment. Although we normally ofer the service to unemployed people, it is just as relevant for anyone who requires assistance with achievement, progression, and engagement with learning and skills development.
Mentoring is a proven concept that provides client-centred, one to one confidential assistance. Mentoring builds confidence and self esteem, resulting in raised expectations and aspirations enabling people to move forward with their lives.
Our Mentors typically work as outreach case workers, with excellent local knowledge and networks, putting people in touch with relevant organisations and additional support opportunities.
Our delivery model is proven with staff in place to provide; telephone (freephone number), email and online support, with extensive expertise in these fields.
Pace and purpose is ensured, with focused meetings. Relationships are short and systematic but in line with other interventions.
Armstrong Learning is experienced in education and training – staff use SMART action planning, standardised procedures and a specially designed internal MIS system to track people intelligently.
